Fundy Language is leading the development of custom software that assists English language learners practice spoken fluency. There are two components to fluency, phonemic pronunciation and phrase prosody.
As learners practice sounds, words and sentences, speech recognition software is able to analyze, detect, and display common mistakes in pronunciation.
In addition to pronunciation errors, English learners often have problems with prosody. This is often expressed in terms of pitch, rhythm and stress. Fundy Language is currently developing tools to analyze and correct common errors in prosody.

Built using Ruby on Rails and Angular, all you need to benefit from this application is an up-to-date browser and working microphone.
Each lesson is made up of multiple scenarios. You are able to define sentences and common errors.
Each scenario has an associated sound clip of the correct pronunciation. The application will analyze audio input against the uploaded sample and detect any errors.
Organize your students into groups and track their progress.
